My Ad Account is Disabled - What do I do?

If your ad account is disabled or your Facebook account, Page, or Business Manager is restricted from advertising, you'll receive an email and Facebook notification.

There is no reason to panic as this happens often, especially if your Ad Account is brand new.

Facebook sometimes disables new accounts because they want to make sure it's a legit business. In most cases, it’s just a mistake from their end and you just need to go through the review process. Unfortunately, we can’t do that for you because, in order to request a review, you must be the owner of the ad account.

What you need to do is:

  1. Go to Account Quality.
  2. Click Account Status Overview in the left menu.
  3. Look for a What You Can Do section. 
  4. To troubleshoot your account, follow the recommended steps in the What You Can Do section. In most cases, you will need to request a review. 
  5. *If you don’t see a What You Can Do section, there are no further steps for you to take at this time. It happens rarely and in that case, contact us and we will research why you can't request a review.
